Contract Counsel is Westaway's contract negotiation subscription. A partner who knows which terms matter, fights for them, and closes. One flat monthly fee.
Every turn drags on for weeks.
Every turn back in two business days.
More turns, more redlines, on points that will never matter. The meter keeps running.
We learn the terms that matter to your business, and win on them. Then we close the deal.
Every week a contract sits in redlines is revenue you can't recognize. You grow slower than you should.
More deals, signed sooner on better terms. You grow as fast as you can sell.
You're going after the big customers. Good. The other side will bring an experienced legal team. Make sure you do too. We've negotiated against the largest companies in the world for our founders and closed over $1 billion in deals for them.

SonyPricing was upfront, communication was clear & quick. As a small business owner, I've been looking for a place to help with contracts for years. This. Is. The. Place.

Match the plan to your monthly deal flow. Three contracts a month fits a company closing a handful of customer and vendor agreements. Five and ten fit a sales team with steady pipeline. Fifteen fits a company where contracts are the bottleneck: enterprise customers, a channel, or a procurement team on the other side. If you're not sure, start lower; you can move up any time and the rate only gets better. Unused contracts don't roll over to the next month.
One contract is up to 20 pages, including exhibits and schedules. That covers the review, the markup, and the negotiation with the other side until it's signed, however many turns that takes. A contract over 20 pages counts as one per 20 pages: a 19-page contract counts as one, and a 41-page MSA counts as three. A DPA attached to an MSA counts as one more. A contract counts in the month you send it to us.
Send them. Contracts above your plan's count are billed at the same per-contract rate you're already paying; there's no overage rate and no cliff at month end. If it keeps happening, move up a plan and the rate drops.
Two business days for each turn, from the day you send it to the day the markup is back in your inbox. Need it tomorrow? One business day for $1,000.
We can; that's up to you. Typically we run the redlines behind the scenes while the business contacts on each side talk to each other, which keeps the deal moving and the relationship warm. If you'd rather we deal with their counsel directly, we will. We're here to help however we can.
We work smarter, not harder. Every Contract Counsel client gets Kyle, with 18+ years in startup law, a senior paralegal, and an AI-powered playbook built from your templates, your terms and your past deals. The playbook is what lets us deliver speed, quality and consistency on every contract, at a price no hourly firm can match.
A partner reads every contract, every turn. The AI does the work that used to eat the hours: gathering your context, building and maintaining your playbook, flagging where a draft departs from it, and keeping the review moving. It never takes the place of human judgment. Which points to push, what to give, when a deal is worth walking away from: that's a lawyer's call, and on Contract Counsel it's a partner's.
Against our flat fee for a stand-alone contract review, $2,000, times the contracts in your plan. Our stand-alone fee is already 20 to 40% below most startup law firms, so the gap against them is wider.
